D Company is an American enterprise, located in one of other cities in Suzhou area. It is an OME company for daily necessities whose products are totally supplied for European and American markets. As the upgrading of products going on, the R&D task is getting heavier and heavier. D Company commissioned us (SCD) to quickly recruit a Product Development Engineer. According to JD¡¯s requirement, candidates should be proficient in product design, mold development, all related processes of the production, and also oral English as well. (*Because of the global collaboration, the Product Development Engineer also needs to attend global R&D conferences all by himself once or twice on a weekly basis, so spoken English is also very demanding.) After receiving the mission, we SCD started research work and quickly provided the target candidates needed for D company.
After several rounds of interviews, cooperating with D Company, it finally singled out one of the target candidates. But because that target candidate lives in Suzhou, an hour's drive away from D Company, cross-district social security, transportation and family become the key factors bothering the candidate. We SCD professionally and accurately calculated the differences across-district social security and transportation costs, also introduced the blueprint to that candidate and his family face to face about related industry, new enterprise and personal career development, which made that candidate accept the offer readily and be on board in time.
3 months and 6 months later after the candidate on board, we SCD paid repeated return visits on that target candidate and his colleagues, asking about his work and expectations from all parties, which is helpful to our future continuous improvements.
